RESEARCH

The Interface Analysis Centre has been carrying out research on building materials for a number of years. The majority of this work has concentrated on alternatives to Ordinary Portland Cement such as lime mortars and associated pozzolanic materials.

Currently, in partnership with network members, research is being focused towards the development of very low embodied energy alternative building materials.
